MY BACKGROUND
I have run a successful practice in Cookham as a professionally qualified Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Massage and Reiki Master Practitioner for over a decade.
In the summer of 2008 I suffered a whiplash injury which resulted in the temporary loss of sensation and grip in my right hand. With only one fully functioning hand I faced the prospect of a future without massage or reflexology and dedicated solely to Reiki. Until that is I received an invitation to join Gerry Pyves, founder of No Hands ® Massage, at his Transforming Touch Course in February 2009.
Once there I was deeply touched by the healing power of this SAFE massage and how it focuses on empowering the client to achieve maximum benefit from each massage they receive.
I qualified as a No Hands Practitioner in June 2009 and continue to learn more about this ‘GENTLE GIANT' of touch having totally immersed myself in the NO HANDS advanced training programme and am now an Apprentice Master.
MY PHILOSOPHY
To offer a SAFE tranquil haven, in beautiful surroundings, to which you can escape, if only for a short while, and experience relaxing treatments which can help revive, strengthen and maintain your health and well being. I believe passionately in an holistic approach and see my role as a facilitator for change awakening the inner doctor within you, allowing your body to heal from within.
Accepting Gerry’s invitation has not only enabled me to continue providing the healing power of touch, it has revolutionised the way I carry out massage and taken me on an amazing journey of self discovery.
I believe passionately that regular massage is the key to attaining and maintaining a happy, healthy mind, body and soul. I therefore ‘walk the talk’ making sure I receive regular NO HANDS treatments every month.
