MY QUALIFICATIONS:
I gained my ITEC Holistic Massage Diploma in July 2003. Around the same time I saw a demonstration of NO HANDS Massage at a complementary health exhibition. I was so deeply touched by the power of this Massage, the focus on empowering the client, and the way music is used as part of the treatment, that I immediately booked on all NO HANDS courses.
I qualified as a NO HANDS Practitioner in May 2004; and continued to learn more about this 'Gentle Giant' of Touch. I passed 'the toughest Bodywork exam in the world' and became a NO HANDS Master Therapist in June 2006, and am still training with Gerry and Geraldine on the NO HANDS Mastery Programme; now in my 8th year. There is always more to learn as every client, and every treatment I give, is different!
MY INTERESTS:
I am very passionate about touch and am a senior member of the NO HANDS Massage Training Team. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge of this powerful new therapy with so many other therapists. I learn more about the power of safe, healing touch at every course I teach!
Over the last three years I have trained in the field of bio-energetic medicine and I have recently started training in Nutritional Therapy to be able to further support my clients in creating balance and wellbeing.
MY PHILOSOPHY:
I believe that regular Massage is absolutely essential for a healthy, happy and successful life. And in 9 years as a therapist I have not found a more powerful or effective treatment than NO HANDS. That is why I make sure I get my own regular treatments. To encourage you to experience the power of NO HANDS, I have a very generous introductory offer for new clients which means you can book a treatment with a highly qualified and experienced therapist for the price a junior therapist would charge - just ring to ask me for details.
Furthermore, I believe that SAFE TOUCH should be available to everyone who needs it - even those who cannot afford to pay for regular Massage. For this reason I offer five sponsored 'Pay what you can afford' treatments a month to those in need. I am thinking especially of people who have experienced 'unsafe' touch; e.g. abuse survivors, armed forces personnel or anyone who has experienced a traumatic event or who has just had some bad luck - OR someone who is always giving to others and really deserves a treat. Please note this is not psychotherapy; it is simply respectful and safe Massage. If you are interested in a sponsored treatment for yourself, or know anyone who you think could really do with a Massage but would never book one, then email me via the 'Contact me' page, explaining why you think you/they qualify. After the first treatment we will then decide on possible follow-up treatments.
